New Delhi, February 01, 2019: Informa Markets welcomed the year 2019 with a great start to the 26th edition of SATTE, a leading B2B travel trade engagement show which was held at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Delhi – NCR for the first time ever. The three-day expo has witnessed a tremendous response from the industry with participation from over 1,000 exhibitors and representation from over 50 + countries, 28 Indian States and 90 cities from across India.

The signature expo was inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Union Minister for State for Culture (I/C), Government of India along with key dignitaries -- Mr. John Amaratunga, Minister of Tourism Development, Christian Affairs and Wildlife, Govt of Sri Lanka; Mr. YB Tuan Muhammad Bakhtiar bin Wan Chik, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia; Ms. Nia Niscaya, Deputy Minister of Tourism Marketing, Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia; Ms. Eunji Tae, Officer, Regional Department for Asia and the Pacific, UNWTO; Mr. Subhash Goyal, Member, National Tourism Advisory Committee; Mr. Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets and Ms. Pallavi Mehra, Group Director, Informa Markets amidst an august industry presence.  


SATTE Awards 2019


Informa Markets started off 2019 on a powerful note with its biggest travel and trade engagement show ‘SATTE’ at the India Expo Centre, Greater Noida on Wednesday (16th Jan 2019). In its 26th edition, the three-day event bagged an excellent response with market leaders increasing their stand size followed by participation from the cross section of global and Indian travel and tourism markets. The show was marked by 1,000 exhibitors and representation from over 50 countries and 90 cities from across India.

  The industry also witnessed the 3rd Edition of SATTE Awards powered by T3 on Day 2 of the expo which not only recognized and celebrated the excellence, triumphs and innovations of key stakeholders in the Travel and Tourism industry but also helped the fraternity with networking opportunities, presentations and other features. Recognizing the scale of growth that this industry is going through, Informa Markets, along with EY as process advisors made the award categories for 2019 more comprehensive which covered various segments of travel and tourism including tour operators, hotels, destinations, OTAs, Bloggers, Crusie Liners to name a few.
