SATTE begins celebrations of it silver jubilee

SATTE, South Asia’s largest travel and tourism exhibition, has announced the celebrations of the 25th edition of the event with an informal get together of industry leaders and partners at The Lodi, the Garden restaurant on July 25, 2017 with the launch of it’s campaign “I am 25”.

The 25th edition, to be held from January 31 –February 2,2018 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi is going to be the  culmination of an industry event every month till December 2017. UBM India, the organizer of SATTE, has lined up a number of events to create more opportunities for the travel trade.

As part of the campaign, SATTE is organizing a thought leadership conference on August 25, Wine Trail on September 25, conferences on travel technology on October 25, Women in Travel on November 25 and CSR activities on December 25.

The 25th July event witnessed a galaxy of luminaries from all cross section of the industry coming together and unwinding up at the cocktail and dinner.  Delivering a short welcome speech, Yogesh Mudras, MD, UBM India thanked all partners of T3 &SATTE for their consistent support. “25 years is a significant milestone, and we intend celebrating the Silver Jubilee of SATTE in a special way -- recognising  the support and encouragement provided to us by the industry. We have lined up a number of exciting events, celebrating different facets of the travel and tourism industry, in the months leading up to the grand expo. We look forward to further strengthening our association with the sector, to take SATTE to even greater heights in its silver jubilee year,” he added.

SATTE 2017 witnessed the participation of over 25 states, 35 countries and 25,000 trade visitors.
